Digital books that stay useful.
A book can do more than deliver information. It can help a learner apply it.
BeBooks are the Studio's bespoke book and learning-tool family — designed with small learning teams, project teams, and educational institutions who want a book that keeps working after the first read.
Bespoke books for real learning moments.
BeBooks is a client-adapted book and learning-tool family. Each edition starts with an agreed learning goal, a source-content route, and a set of design adjustments — not a generic template. On the Learning Legacy Infinite (LLI) consumer site, this service is called Custom AI Learning Books; on the Studio side, we deliver it as BeBooks. Same offering, two audiences.
For learners
- A book that helps you clarify, choose, and apply — not just read.
- Guided practice, feedback, and consolidation within the book.
- An access route that suits the delivery — standalone, hosted, or authenticated library.
- No AI feature outside what the content owner has approved.
For learning teams & institutions
- A boutique learning-design partnership, not a self-serve platform.
- Content, tools, feedback language, and AI boundaries approved by the client's own expert.
- A named contact through discovery, build, pilot, launch, and annual care.
- An optional Learning Signals Dashboard you can add to any BeBooks project — see the insights page.
Choose the shape that fits the project.
One book, a library of books, or a domain-adapted edition — three routes for three project shapes. Studio, Library, and Domain can be combined.
BeBooks Studio
One bespoke book or book-tool experience configured for a defined learning need. Ideal for a workshop follow-up, campaign resource, targeted intervention, or focused learning activity.
Standalone local, client-managed, or hosted by agreement.
BeBooks Library
A branded, authenticated collection of selected BeBooks, organised into pathways with an administrative view. Ideal for a small learning team or institution managing access to more than one book.
Hosted on LLI's server where authentication and administration are required.
Domain BeBooks
Books adapted for a defined profession, learner group, role, language context, or project setting. Ideal when examples, tasks, prompts, feedback, and pathways need to fit the client's domain.
Delivered as a Studio book or inside a Library.
Start from a Learning Legacy title, your own expert content, or a combination.
Every BeBooks project begins with content. Three routes cover the common project shapes. The client names the product owner, content rights owner, and subject-matter expert at discovery.
Six tools. Approved per project. Grounded in your content.
A BeBooks project selects the fewest tools that serve the learner's moment of need. Every tool is configured against approved source content; every tool has a client review path.
Coaching prompts
Content-grounded prompts that help a learner clarify, choose, and apply a next step at a point of need — without replacing expert judgement.
Questions and tasks
Guided practice: short-answer, comparison, scenario, observation, or application tasks linked to a chapter or module.
Feedback for growth
Self-checks, feedback cues, rubric-led reflection, and consolidation prompts approved by the content expert.
Text and image activities
Close-reading cards, visual annotation, source comparison, and image-supported tasks — subject to rights approval.
Assessment books
Practice, checkpoint, or formative-assessment routes with client-approved question types, success indicators, and retry logic.
Multilingual editions
Agreed language adaptations where review resources exist; named language review and accessibility checks.
A clear role for AI. A clear role for your experts.
AI features are configured around approved source content and learning rules. They help learners clarify, practise, apply, and reflect. They do not replace subject-matter expertise or make unsupported judgements about a learner.
Content grounding
AI uses only client-approved source material, with an explicit "outside approved content" response when a learner asks something the source does not cover.
No hidden learner profiling
No inference of personality, emotion, cultural identity, political opinion, or professional competence from learner input. AI can invite a learner to clarify, practise, compare, apply, or reflect — it does not determine a learner's ability.
Named expert accountability
A client-nominated subject-matter expert approves source content, feedback language, and any material change to AI behaviour.
Transparent boundaries
Learners are told what AI can and cannot do in the book, what is saved, and how to opt out of AI features where present.
Human escalation
For sensitive content or a learner concern outside the book's scope, a client-approved information or support route is provided — the AI does not attempt to resolve a personal issue.
Designed for Singapore's PDPA context, on infrastructure certified for it.
BeBooks projects are hosted on Singapore infrastructure. AI processing runs on Singapore-hosted models where possible, and on named providers under commercial API agreements where not. Every deployment names the provider, region, and data-handling terms before launch.
Infrastructure and AI routing
Where the data lives.
BeBooks user accounts, learning data, and content are stored on AWS infrastructure in Singapore. The infrastructure is certified to Singapore's Multi-Tier Cloud Security Standard (MTCS SS 584 Level 3), the international information-security management standard (ISO/IEC 27001), and the SOC 2 Type II framework for security, availability, and confidentiality. Certification details: MTCS SS 584 · ISO/IEC 27001 · SOC 2.
How learners appear to the AI.
Learners are represented in the system by an internal user ID. Email addresses are collected only for account access and are not passed to AI models. For a Domain BeBooks project, a client may elect a different access model — by identified user or by their own domain — as part of the discovery conversation.
Which AI models run.
Most BeBooks AI features run on Alibaba Cloud models hosted in Singapore. Conversational AI agents run on Anthropic. Learner input is processed under commercial API agreements that exclude model training by default. AI requests are routed through a self-hosted n8n workflow on the Singapore server.
n8n is an open-source workflow tool; "self-hosted" means it runs on our own server rather than on a third-party service.
Cross-border transfers
Cross-border transfers to conversational-AI providers outside Singapore are handled in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act (Singapore), Section 26. The provider, region, and terms are named in the client's learner-facing notice.
The Data Protection Officer is contactable at contactadmin@learning-legacy.org.
Who buys, who accesses.
Direct BeBooks purchases through the Studio platform are for learners aged 18 and above. Under-18 learners are supported only through a verified educational-business client, in which the client organisation retains its own safeguarding, consent, and duty-of-care obligations.
This is product-design guidance, not legal advice on your organisation's data-protection obligations.
Thoughtful design without promises we cannot support.
Studio. Learning Legacy is a boutique learning-design company. We design and configure the agreed learning experience, AI-enabled book tools, and hosting arrangement within the project scope. Where a client needs 24/7 operations or LMS integration, we say so up front and route to a suitable arrangement.
We design
- Learning journeys, content maps, design adjustments, agreed AI features, questions, tasks, feedback, testing, launch materials.
- Hosted BeBooks Studio and Library arrangements scoped to the project. Library authentication and administration are hosted on LLI's server when in scope.
- Configured AI features with an acceptance allowance for testing. Live AI use is funded through the LLI credit process — see FAQ Q9.
- Collaboration on technical build or maintenance through agreed project arrangements with the client's own team.
We do not promise
- A 24/7 technical support desk.
- LMS integration services, enterprise SSO integration, or uncontrolled third-party API integrations.
- Unlimited live AI use bundled into the book price, hosting price, or annual-care price.
- Enterprise assurance frameworks equivalent to a dedicated technical operations team.
A clear path from learner moment to launch.
We start with the learner moment you want the book to support — not a feature list. Four phases. Named owners at every gate. A pilot before launch. Eight to twelve weeks depending on scope.
I.
Discovery
Learner group, learning moment, content route, edition selection, source rights, subject-matter expert, hosting expectation, AI boundaries, dashboard scope.
Gate: charter, decision rhythm, named owners.
II.
Design
Content map, book-tool selection, AI grounding rules, access route, accessibility route, multilingual decision.
Gate: content and governance pack v1.
III.
Build & pilot
Configured prototype → content-expert and pilot-learner review → refinement.
Gate: recruit reviewers, review consolidated feedback.
IV.
Launch & care
Launch, handover, agreed annual-care and update process; optional Learning Signals Dashboard add-on.
Gate: final content, hosting, support contact, renewal terms.
Bring us one learner moment and one source of expertise.
Every BeBooks project starts with a discovery conversation — the learner group, the content route, the source rights, the subject-matter expert, the tools that suit the moment, the access model, and the AI boundaries that shape the experience.
Indicative scope tool; the result is a discovery brief, not a binding quotation.
